24.03.2009 - 'Blues Out Back Success'
The Forth Pub would like to thank you for your patronage for our 'Blues Out Back' session. Once again this event was a huge success. Thank-you to our bands performing on the night: 'Halway to Forth' and 'Dudley Nightshades'.
08.03.09 - Talent Quest Winners

Will be performing on the main stage at the Festival.

Halfway to Forth will be playing on Friday the 20th at the 'Blues Out The Back'.

Will be playing the Saturday morning festival session.

Will be playing the Sunday morning 'Brekky Sessions'.
06.03.09 - 'Blues Out Back' Bands
'Halfway to Forth' and 'Dudley Nightshades' will be the two bands playing at the Forth Pub's 'Blues out Back'.
13.02.09 - 'Blues Out Back'
Prepare yourselves! The 'Blues Out Back' is on once again. It will be held on Friday, the 20th March, the night prior to the Jack Daniel's Forth Valley Blues Festival commencing. Meals will be available and a variety of home-made pies also on sale. Two bands will be performing on the night: the Mal Greenop Memorial People's Choice Award winner, and a second selected act from the talent quest.
12.02.09 - Jack Daniel's Forth Valley Blues
The 2009 Jack Daniel's Forth Valley Blues Festival is back, and will be held on Saturday the 21st of March. 13 Hours of Blues will be played at the Forth Recreation Ground, check the lineup here. Tickets available from the pub or other locations around the state.
15.03.08 - Blues Out Back Success
The Forth Pub would like to thank you for your patronage on our first 'Blues Out Back'. From all accounts, a great night was had by all. The 'Blues Out Back' will return next year bigger and better.

4.03.08 - Blues Out Back
The pub will be having 'Blues out the Back' on the Friday night before the festival with 'The Bone Rattlers' and 'The Middletones' performing. Meals will be available and a variety of home-made pies. See gig guide for more information.
3.03.08 - Jack Daniel's Forth Valley Blues Festival
Don't forgot the Blues Festival on Saturday 15th March 2008. If you haven't got your ticket, drop in to the pub today and grab one. Alternate sales venues can be found on the Blues Festival website.
The 'Brekky Sessions' are on again this year. Recover on the Sunday morning with an egg and bacon roll, hash brown and a cuppa for only $6 and take in some acoustics blues at the clubhouse with 'Jacob Boote', acoustic choice winner from the Blues Talent Search.

The Blues Festival Talent Quest will be commencing in Feburary. If you or your band would like to participate you can register through the Jack Daniel's Forth Valley Blues Festival website.

26.11.07 - Salty Dog Cancellation
Due to unforseen circumstances, 'Salty Dog' have had to cancel their gig at the pub on New Years Eve. DJ Woodsy will now be getting you into the New Year. We look forward to seeing Salty Dog return next year.

The 'Bridge Hotel Battlers' win yet another premiership in the regional 8-Ball competetion. This premiership brings up number 8 from 13 finals played. Certainly a force to be reckoned with...

19.3.07 - Forth Valley Blues Festival
Once again the 2007 festival was very successful and appears to be getting bigger every year. An enjoyable afternoon and evening of blues was no doubt had by all. A well done should go out to all the volunteers and staff who assisted in making the day a great success.

22.2.07 - Damian Greenwood Talent Search Result
The Damian Greenwood Memorial Talent Search has finished. Congratulations to the following bands:
'The Middletones' were the winner's of the 2007 Damien Greenwood Memorial Search. This band will have the oppurtunity to play during the Forth Valley Blues Festival on the main stage.
'Blue Monday' were the winner's of the Mal Greenop Memorial award (People's Choice). This band will play at the pub on the Friday night prior to the festival.
'Deviot Blues' were the Committee's choice winners. This band will play the Saturday morning festival session.
'Neil Gibson' and 'Jacob Boote' tied for the 'Acoustic Choice Award'. The pair will play on the Sunday morning.

28.1.07 - 135th Birthday Bash!
The patrons at the Sunday session at the Forth Pub had more reasons for partying as the pub celerated its 135th birthday. Entertainment was provided through the afternoon by 'Nine Lives' playing a great mix of tunes. With a fun and fantastic atmosphere celebrations went late into the evening.
